Britt Arend studied at the Royal Conservatory in Brussels with Susanna Mildonian, the Hochschule Hanns Eisler in Berlin with Maria Graf, the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala in Milan, and the Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome.

She attended summer courses at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena, Mozarteum Salzburg, Festival des Arcs and Festival of Gargilesse.

A much sought after soloist, chamber and orchestral musician, Britt was appointed Principal Harpist of the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra in April 2008.
