Administrative Assistant – Finance and Administration

Prior to joining the MPO, what did it represent for you?

Being a musician myself since a very young age, I always considered the MPO to be the highest expression of this art discipline locally. Understanding the hours of practice required by a musician for solo or orchestral performances made me more appreciative of their efforts.

Can you delineate your role within the orchestra?

I feel extremely proud and privileged to form part of the Finance and Administration team of such a fantastic entity.

What do you cherish most from the MPO’s concerts?

Apart from the indescribable feelings transmitted in concerts, I appreciate the long hours of hard work and dedication not only of the musicians, but of each and every member of the MPO working together as a team behind the scenes. Preparations for each concert start months in advance with each department contributing their expertise.

How would you describe music?

To me, music is the only thing that gives goosebumps, makes us emotional in public whilst inspiring us to find answers we all yearn for, all at the same time.
