The Malta Philharmonic Orchestra commemorates Independence Day in the annual concert presented with Festivals Malta. Mro Michael Laus leads the orchestra in an extensive musical journey featuring a wide range of Maltese composed music, by Nicolò Isouard, Vincenzo Bugeja, Ruben Zahra, Paolino Vassallo, and Josef Bugeja. The program will also feature Otto Nicolai’s gorgeous Overture and will conclude with Giuseppe Verdi’s Vespri Siciliani.
