The 15th edition of Gaulitana: A Festival of Music kicks off its ‘GauLive’ series with ‘From the New World” under the baton of the festival Artistic Director Colin Attard 

Antonín Dvořák‘s best-loved and grand Symphony No. 9 highlights the evening. Its title marks a natural link to the current times as the world, and the arts industries look forward towards a new reality, a new world.

Pertinently, the symphony’s seamless fusion of Indian, Afro-American and European idioms and forms renders it a perfect expression of the synergy and unity required over all fronts to ultimately arrive at a better new world.
