Roberta Cannas began her music education at the age of eight. She studied at the Conservatoire of Music of Cagliari in Italy, where she was awarded a Master’s Degree in Violin with full marks in 2005. She moved to London in 2006 where she studied with Russian soloist Lydia Mordkovitch.
The recipient of a full scholarship, in 2011 she completed a Master of Arts in Performance at the Royal Academy of Music.Roberta has worked with the Orchestra of Welsh National Opera (Cardiff) and the Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia (Rome), and was invited to perform with the Orchestra of Teatro la Fenice (Venice) and Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale RAI (Turin).
Roberta joined the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra in 2019.
