Marco Cola began studying music at the Conservatory Benedetto Marcello in Venice, from where he graduated in Horn under the guidance of Marco Venturi. Encounters with leading performers and teachers such as R. Vlatković, A. Allegrini, and F. R. Wekre had a profound impact on his musical development.

In 2004 he began studying with Markus Maskuniitty at the Hannover University of Music and later at the University of Music in Rostock with Prof. Michael Höltzel, graduating in 2009. Marco has performed in various international chamber music settings and collaborated with several Italian and German orchestras.

Marco joined the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra as first horn in 2014 and in 2016 took over the position of third / first horn.
