Marco Agnetti received a Diploma cum laude in Double Bass at Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali G. Briccialdi in 2012. In 2014 he did an Erasmus in Tallin at EAMT with M. Mati Lukk, and in 2016 obtained the Master’s degree in double bass at Briccialdi Istitute, Terni, with full marks.

He participated in masterclasses with Božo Paradžik, Catalin Rotaru and Rustem Gabdullin. In 2009 Marco won the audition for Orchestra Giovanile Italiana, where he studied with M. Alberto Bocini, and in 2013 won the special prize for Koussevitzky’s Double Bass Concerto performance at Premio Nazionale delle Arti.

Since 2014 he has been member of the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra, and double bass tutor at Malta School of Music since 2019.
