Jennifer is an alumna of Royal Academy of Music, and Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. Alongside her studies, Jennifer performed as principal oboe with the NYO and EUYO, as well as participating in the CBSO side-by-side scheme. Jennifer enjoyed a career as a freelance musician, playing with a number of orchestras throughout the UK including BBC NOW and Birmingham Opera Company.

She is also an avid chamber musician. 2018 saw the release of a CD with Waldegrave Ensemble celebrating Music for Winds by the renowned British composer Matthew Taylor, as well as in 2019 collaborating with the internationally acclaimed Atéa Quintet on their CD Music for Nine Winds.

In 2017, Jenny was awarded the cor anglais chair with the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra.
