Gjorgji Cincievski finished his studies with full honours at the prestigious Royal Northern College of Music, UK, later becoming its first Junior Fellow in Double Bass. He has participated in prestigious festivals and orchestras worldwide, and performed with some of the leading soloists and conductors of today. Apart from being an active soloist, he has continued his educational work and held

numerous masterclasses, workshops and solo concerts in 67 countries around the world. He is the artistic director of Malta International Double Bass Days, and the first Maltese Pirastro-endorsed Artist Soloist. He has done many successful transcriptions for double bass, some of which have been awarded and performed worldwide.

Gjorgji is the Principal Double Bass of the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra.
