Following her years at the then Johann Strauss School of Music under the tuition of Ramona Zammit Formosa and Silvio Zammit, Clara Galea studied for a Bachelor of Music at Edinburgh Napier University with flautist Andrea Kuypers, and later for a Master’s degree in Musicology at the University of Edinburgh.

Clara has participated in flute masterclasses with Marina Piccinini, Andrea Oliva, Lady Jeanne Galway, Othonas Gkogkas and Katherine Bryan, amongst others.

Clara is a member of the MPO Academy, through which she regularly performs under the tutelage of principal flautist Rebecca Hall. She is also reading for the Doctor of Music in Performance programme at the University of Malta, under the supervision of Dr Max Erwin and Dr Rebecca Hall.
