Prior to joining the MPO, what did it represent to you? 

I always admired the MPO for its work in the cultural scene. Seeing the orchestra’s determination to continuously thrive and grow inspired me to aim for what I desire with the same determination and passion.

The highly reputable institution excels in making the nation proud, both locally and internationally.

Can you delineate your role within the orchestra? 

I work within the Finance and Administration Department. I am responsible for payments, payroll, recruitment and other duties as requested by the management. 

What do you cherish most from the MPO’s concerts? 

I love that the MPO’s productions are varied and we always manage to hit the right note with concert-goers, offering them the best of experiences.

In addition, the highlight to each and every concert is witnessing our musicians’ enthusiasm. Their sense of accomplishment at the end of a performance is what makes my job that much more satisfying.

How would you describe music? 

Music is a way of communication, a language which every single individual understands. Music helps people to freely express themselves with musical feelings and emotion rather than words. It gives meaning to life.

I simply cannot imagine my life without it.
