Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart‎ The Opera of the Three Little Pigs 

The Malta Summer Festival opens with an edutainment project seeking to bring opera to young audiences and families. 

The plot based on the tale of The Three Little Pigs is transformed into a one-act production featuring music from Mozart’s operatic oeuvres. Performed in English, the show brings together local and foreign creatives in an interdisciplinary collaborative endeavour of music, costumes, projections and lights.  

The Malta Youth Orchestra performs under the baton of MYO Artistic Director José García Gutiérrez. 

This concert is part of the Malta Summer Festival presented by the MPO in collaboration with Arts Council Malta and Malta Tourism Authority with the support of Hilton Malta and the Ministry of Gozo. 

Dress Code: Smart casual (suggested) 

An exclusive Shuttle Service will be provided for patrons at a nominal fee of €2. The service will run from Vjal ir-Re Dwardu VII (near the Tritoni Fountain) to Fort St Elmo, departing at 7.30PM. The return leg leaves at the end of the concert. Pre-booking is required on events@maltaorchestra.com
