The Malta Philharmonic Orchestra teams up with the Lufthansa Orchester, an orchestra made up of Lufthansa pilots, flight attendants, technicians, office staff and other employees with a passion for music and a talent for playing instruments, which get together for a number of concerts each year.

Under the direction of British conductor Colin Touchin, the two orchestras will be performing popular classical works including the memorable first movement of Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony, Dvořák’s Slavonic Dance in G minor, Brahms’ Hungarian Dance No. 6, theme music from James Bond and Pirates of the Caribbean and many more, including vocal numbers with the help of none other than Winter Moods frontman Ivan Grech.
