Orchestra Resounds ensues with a work by the Argentine composer considered the father of the tango nuevo, fusing elements of jazz and classical music in the traditional dance. His oeuvre Libertango highlights this break as the title is a portmanteau of “libertad” and tango. 

Considered as the leading ambassador for the classical accordion, Ksenija Sidorova joins the MPO in performing this oeuvre full of rhythms and a fiendish melody which has featured on over 500 separate releases.
