Returning after an eight year absence, the Festival Kanzunetta Maltija offers a platform for artists bringing different genres of Maltese music together in an annual song contest. 

In lieu of a physical audience, the festival has been transformed as a television production with a stage designed specifically for this production and equipped with the best audiovisual technology.  A unique aspect of this Festival is the collaboration with the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra, performing live with the participants.
