Czech Jan Kučera features in this Lounge Night, an exciting production fusing musical styles within a relaxed environment. 

One of most versatile artists, composing a wide array of works for varied genres ranging from symphonies to songs, chamber music and stage music. Kučera is also an established conductor, regularly collaborating with leading native orchestras. 

The Tango was composed for The Untouchables, a dance performance by the Spitfire Company in 2010. Built around a simple musical motif originally written for piano, the Ballad was eventually transcribed and performed by acclaimed soloists, including Radek Baborák and Arturo Sandoval. 

The event ends with the work To Je Ale Veselý Den! originally recorded by the composer with the Epoque Quartet back in 2000.
