Renowned pianist Yekwon Sunwoo, Gold medal winner of the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, showcases his interpretative mastery in a tour de force performance accompanied by the MPO.  

Under the baton of Sergey Smbatyan, the programme includes Alexey Shor’s Childhood Memories, a suite of fourteen short pieces for piano reflecting memories from his childhood and those of his children, and Prokofiev’s celebrated Piano Concerto No. 3, imbued with lyrical passages brilliantly weaved in the smooth interplay between the soloist and the orchestra.
