Brilliance and grace are synonymous with South-Korean pianist Yeol Eum Son who joins forces with the MPO in presenting two major works. 

The programme features Alexey Shor’s evocative piano concerto Travel Notebook, a musical diary of journeys, and Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G Major, a sublime work with stylistic and idiomatic influences from Jazz to Basque folk music. Mendelssohn’s Overture adds an enchanting touch to the concert.
