Malta’s world-acclaimed tenor Joseph Calleja joins MPO Principal Conductor Sergey Smbatyan and the orchestra in a concert fusing operatic repertoire with semi-classical works. The programme features arias by Verdi, Giordano and Bizet as well Manon’s poignant Intermezzo together with lighter musical theatre numbers. 

The orchestra also performs two movements from The Knights of Malta Ballet Suite, as the evening tributes one of Malta’s leading composers, Charles Camilleri.
