The 25th anniversary celebrations of the VIAF come to a close with a celebration of one of the leading figures in classical music – Ludwig van Beethoven. 

Under the direction of Philip Walsh, the orchestra performs the symphony which pays homage to the great Viennese classical tradition whilst anticipating the composer’s innovative writing in the following decade. 

Andrea Gajic joins the orchestra to perform a concerto deemed as the composer’s most lyrical work.
